Intro

Exhibition Series

The exhibition features two major thematic exhibitions and three solo projects by Aurèle Oggier, Andriu Deplazes, and Jeanne Jacob, offering a transition from a collective perspective to more personal artistic approaches.Whether paintings, drawings, or installations, the works brought together in these exhibitions draw their inspiration from nature, the landscapes, and the histories of Valais, as well as from more intimate realms. Finally, visitors are invited to explore *Aquarium* (2014), a large-scale installation by Joëlle Allet, as well as works permanently integrated into the museum building and its terraces. The museum also offers playful ways to explore the exhibitions through “Inspiro,” a card and chance game; via a literary journey conceived by authors Marlène Mauris and Johannes Raphael Millius; by following the “Simple Suggestions” label trail; or by participating in a collective weaving project conceived by artist Marie Jambers.
