Guided tour of Soglio
Overview
Intro
"La soglia del paradiso" — "the threshold to paradise" — is what the painter Giovanni Segantini is said to have called Soglio.
This centuries-old village is situated on a sunny hillside terrace. From here, you have a unique view of the valley below and the majestic peaks of the Sciora range. In the labyrinth of cobblestone alleys lined with closely packed palazzi, residential buildings, and stables, you can feel the past.
Meeting point: 4:00 p.m., Soglio Information Center (vecchia latteria)
