On September 12, 2026, the Mattmark Memorial will take place for the 8th time. The classic half marathon leads along historic paths through the Saastal (21K) and ends, like the practically flat lake round (8K), at the Mattmark Dam. Additionally, there are two challenging alpine trails over 35K and 45K. These trails, starting and finishing in Saas-Grund (Schoolhouse), follow the high paths above the valley.
For those who prefer a more leisurely pace, there is the FUN category for the 8 km long route around Mattmark Lake and the half marathon.
