Farid Laid has a profound knowledge of the history of photography from every angle. Thanks to his shots taken exclusively with vintage large-format cameras and brass lenses, the artist leads us to discover important and significant works from both a technical and historical perspective, also thanks to the use of unusual printing processes: such as the wet collodion development technique he has been using since 2019. Il Canvetto Luganese is therefore pleased to present Farid Laid's fascinating, in-depth, and precise work.
