Intro
Dance moves Thun From May 6 to 10, 2026, Thun will be transformed into a vibrant dance city for the fifth time.

Dance as far as the eye can see!
Whether on stage, in the middle of the city or on a dance walk: numerous highlights and unforgettable moments await you in Thun. Award-winning Swiss dancers (including choreographer Raphaël Berkane, winner of World of Dance Switzerland 2024) present their creative, light-footed and humorous performances.
On the popular dance walk along the Aare, professional dancers from the region will surprise you with short performances in unexpected places. On Saturday evening, the Mokka hosts an intergenerational dance party with the Bernese chanson-east folk band Zapjevala - where young and old dance together. And Thun dance schools will be giving an insight into the fascinating variety of different dance styles - from hip hop to ballet and tango - both on the open stage and in taster courses.
