The accountant Robert Binggeli has fallen into serious financial distress due to the financial crisis. Therefore, he allows himself to be persuaded by his cousin Carlo Stalder, a notorious criminal, to rob a bank. However, the escape goes wrong and the two must hide in an advertising agency. There, they are quickly discovered. In order not to be caught, the two bank robbers become more and more entangled in lies. And as if that weren't enough, new clients of the advertising agency, a confused owner, and not least a chatterbox parrot make their lives difficult.
