Grape harvest with the vintners in the kingdom of the world-renowned Merlot. Join in yourself, and learn all about how wine is produced.
Various wineries in southern Ticino invite wine enthusiasts to take part in the traditional grape harvest. Those whose passion for wine goes beyond merely drinking it can help out with the 'vendemmia' or grape harvest for a day in Mendrisiotto and Basso Ceresio. There's no pay but in return, you're invited to share a well-deserved lunch: the mood will be jolly!
Anyone interested can register at the Mendrisiotto Turismo office for this unforgettable grape harvest experience in September/October. Participation is free of charge.
