Intro
No limits are imposed on experimental art at this cosmopolitan cultural institution which still retains its local roots. In the "Third Room" there is a space for meetings and a library of artists' publications from the London collection "Publish and be damned".
With its five or six annual temporary exhibitions, the Kunsthalle Winterthur introduces the artistic zeitgeist to the Winterthur Old Town. Video and computer art, installations, photography and many other unique art forms find their niche in the Kunsthalle.
Also, in the “Third Room”, set up by the Swiss artist Mark Divo, art gets up close and personal – whether it be in discussion with the Kunsthalle management team, with the artists themselves, or relaxing on a sofa and browsing in the library.
