Intro
The museum "zum Feld" with the historical local collection is located in a farmhouse from the 18th century. It is mainly dedicated to the tessellation, which was very common in the upper Basel area ("Sydebändeli").
The local history collection shows objects from the rural past of the house for hunting and fishing. The museum also harbors a small cobbler and wainwright’s workshop. The annual changing exhibition will open in November and is dedicated to changing local themes.
