Description
A chance to get away from it all above the resort of Les Diablerets, this trail takes you from the Col du Pillon to Isenau, via Lake Retaud, an idyllic place with spectacular views of the Les Diablerets glacier.
From the Col du Pillon, where you can see the impressive cable cars travelling up to Glacier3000, this walk continues along the snow-covered footpath to Lake Retaud. You’ll definitely be charmed by the panoramic terrace of the restaurant where you can take a little break and enjoy the spectacular views of this unique site. Hikers will encounter the Sex Rouge, Nägelihorn and the Oldenhorn peaks across the valley, as well as the Diablerets Glacier.
The trail continues through the plain from Moilles to Isenau. For the return journey, take the same route in the opposite direction to Col du Pillon. Families with small children can pull a sledge along the way.
