Description
The tour begins near the Celerina train station. A gravel road comfortably climbs the first 400 meters in altitude to Alp Laret, then it turns steeper: via the Glüna Hut and Lej Alv you continue to the Corviglia mountain station at just above 2,400 meters. This is a perfect place to take a break in the futuristic quattro bar.
Re-energised and with a smile, we tackle the last 200 meters in altitude leading to the highest point of the tour. First a steep gravel road and then an absolutely fantastic path with spectacular views of the lakes of the Upper Engadine and the Bernina range further back take us around Piz Nair to the Suvretta Pass. And the best is yet to come, because right afterwards is the start of the juicy five-kilometre single trail through Suvretta da Samedan to Alp Suvretta.
In the end, a relaxed fun alpine path takes us through scenic Val Bever to Spinas. With the boost of a piece of Engadine nut cake at restaurant Spinas, it is easy to coast down the slightly descending road to Bever and along the bottom of the valley back to Celerina.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
