This easy round-trip in direction hamlet Sporz is suitable for snowshoers who have already gained some experience on the terrain.
Description
Once a mere pass between Chur and Tiefencastel, the Lenzerheide holiday region high valley is today a popular winter and summer resort on 1‘500 meters asl.
The starting point of the snowshoe tour Val Sporz is the the Tgantieni valley station. The trail follows the winter hiking path towards Sporz. After a few hundred meters the trail turns into an open field.
Trek across pastures and through a scattering of fir trees to reach this tour's highest point near the hamlet of Sporz. A somewhat steeper descent into La Val awaits you now. Make a turn before reaching the little stream. Follow the edge of the forest and then cross the districts of Penasch Seura and Penasch Sot to return to the starting point.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
