In the evenings, he would lie down in the Schwendibach valley, rest his head on the Meglisalp’s lush meadows and gaze up at the summit of the Säntis in the mornings. Nobody’s seen hide nor hair of the giant for a long time, of course, but you can look forward to the same views he would have had on this multi-day tour. You’ll fall in love with the green valleys, sparkling lakes and the Alpstein mountains’ ridge paths and panoramic peaks. What’s more … the legend goes on to tell how the giant packed the local people and houses into his sack because he liked the area so much.
