Overview
Pilgrimage on Lake Geneva The final stages of the Swiss Way of St. James take you from the lovely Fribourg region to the shores of Lake Geneva. The first few kilometers of the pilgrimage route in the Jorat Nature Park are idyllic. Small rivers murmur playfully along the way, and the wind whispers in the leaves of this huge forest. Shortly afterwards, the idyll gives way to the hustle and bustle of Lausanne. The promenade leads you out of the city again and now the lake basin lies before you. You pass small castles and market towns until the Jet d'Eau whips up on the horizon and announces the end of your journey in Geneva.
