The Girl Gang

Introduction
In the last week of the summer holidays, six days of pure empowerment for girls and young women with dance, judo, theater, wrestling and self-defense and lots of fun, exclusively led by the wonderful Jennifer Jackson (GB).
In this workshop you will dive into the themes and practices of her award-winning show WRESTLELADSWRESTLE with Jennifer Jackson (GB). Together with other accomplices, you will learn games and choreographies inspired by judo, dance, theater, wrestling and self-defense. Using elements from the show, you will develop your own material, which will be presented in a joint show at the end of the week.
The workshop includes warm-ups and ensemble work, which will introduce you step by step to the joint movement work. You will sharpen your body awareness, experience empowerment and strengthen your self-confidence. Together you will create group choreographies, wrestling-like performances and lots of feminist moments of chaos.
Who is it for?
For FLINTA* people between the ages of 16 and 25. The workshop is open to anyone interested, no previous experience is required.
