A Glittering Display of Lights at the Kambly Christmas Market
On the first two weekends of Advent, from 27 to 29 November and from 4 to 6 December 2026, the Kambly Christmas Market invites you to come and explore: with regional specialities, atmospheric chalets and festive activities for young and old alike.
Christmas village and enchanting activities
When the lights come on around the Kambly Experience, a small, atmospheric Christmas village comes to life. Thirty festively decorated chalets invite you to stroll, explore and linger. Local producers present their specialities and handmade products in person. From Emmental delicacies to honey and tea blends, right through to Advent floral arrangements and woodcraft, there is plenty to discover at the lovingly designed stalls.
There is also plenty for our youngest guests to enjoy: together with the Kambly Maîtres Confiseurs, children can decorate their own gingerbread; there’s laughter at the puppet theatre; and they can create little Christmas gifts whilst making candles.
The Romantic Liechtli-Weg
A particular highlight is the romantic Liechtli-Weg along the River Ilfis. As dusk falls, numerous lanterns illuminate the approximately 600-metre-long trail, creating a special atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the market. To round off the evening, visitors can enjoy the warmth of the campfire and relax with a cup of tea.
A treat for young and old alike
Of course, there’s no shortage of culinary delights either. Alongside delicious Kambly biscuits, guests can look forward to raclette, sweet treats and regional specialities. Emmental mulled wine and punch will keep you warm on chilly Advent days.

The Kambly Christmas Market takes place from 27 to 29 November and from 4 to 6 December 2026 around the Kambly Experience in Trubschachen. Travelling by public transport is recommended. Admission is free.
