Inleiding
This circular track in the "Ferien- und Sportregion Ybrig" demands stamina and technique and is a delight for seasoned cross-country skiers. Those following a tough training regime can use the extra loop to get their heart pumping.
Beschrijving
The circular route is surrounded by beautiful Alpine foothills and takes guts from the very start. In a shaded area where snow is still guaranteed, it begins uphill with the Sihl Valley mountains looming before the skiers' eyes. Climbs and descents alternate throughout the route. Around Ochsenboden, the track features plenty of bends and is ideal for technical skiing.
The 18-hole Ybrig golf course is followed by an extra loop that packs a punch. Those who want to work on their fitness or still have enough energy left for some interval training will find it hard to resist. The track ends with a descent and a leisurely coast along the Sihl river back to the start in the heart of the village of Studen, part of the Ybrig holiday and sports region.
De sleutel voor een prettige wandeltocht is onder andere een zorgvuldige planning. Win op voorhand inlichtingen in bij de plaatselijke informatiedienst over de toestand van het traject en de weersomstandigheden. Afhankelijk van het seizoen en de weersomstandigheden kan de route gesloten of onderbroken zijn.
