The Berghaus Baschalva with a splendid panoramic view is situated on 1000 metres above sea level in the middle of the ski and hiking area of the Pizol in the canton St. Gallen, Switzerland (near the middle terminal of the Wangs-Pizol cable railway). The well-kept group lodge - a former mountain hotel - offers spacious common rooms, a popular disco bar, a Stübli (lounge), a library/leader's room, a hall with table football and table tennis as well as a well-equipped bright kitchen with large storage rooms. Sun terrace, playground for ball games and fireplace. Accommodation mainly in double and triple rooms. All rooms with a fantastic view. Direct access by car or by postal coach from the Sargans motorway exit or railway station (2,5 km to the base terminal in the village of Wangs). In winter the ski runs and the 7km sledge run lead past the Baschalva. Starting point for the well known tour around the five lakes. The mountain lodge Baschalva is located at the bicycle route number 9. Our prices are: Flat rate of CHF 2500.00 (1-2 nights) and CHF 2200.00 from 3 nights. In addition, there is an overnight price per person/night of CHF 16 (summer season) and CHF 18 (winter season) and additional costs depending on the size of the group.
