It’s a bit like the seaside here. And seaside holidays inevitably come to mind when you see children and adults of all ages playing on Salavaux’s gently sloping sandy beach – which is also the longest in Switzerland – while the warm water of Lake Murten laps gently around your toes. The Fribourg Riviera really puts you in the holiday mood – everyone here wears a smile.
