Introdução
Gleaming metal, the smell of coal fire, the hissing steam, the sparks and the smooth working of the massive machinery completely captivate the passengers of the steam train.
Since 1871 the first mountain train in Europe has been carrying passengers from Vitznau to Mt. Rigi. Locomotives and cars from years gone by were lovingly and professionally restored. Today, the Rigi railways have one of the largest vintage fleets in the world.
The steam engine and nostalgic cars make the trip to the “Queen of the Mountains” an exclusive adventure, even in the winter.
