We are taking this opportunity to once again offer public Bachtel round-trip tours with a transfer in Hinwil for the first time in many years. For this trip, we’ll be using the “Wyländerli,” a vehicle that was once regularly in service in the Tösstal. This round-trip tour will take you along parts of all the anniversary routes! Among the absolute highlights are the UeBB steam railcar (now part of SBB Historic / Zurich Steam Group) and the Langnau steam locomotive, a sister locomotive to those of the Tösstalbahn, dating from 1881. Of course, our Locomotive 401—also an original UeBB locomotive—will be there as well.
And as always, children up to age 16 ride for free with the DVZO!
