Backpack wine tasting in the Bündner Herrschaft

Experience a unique wine tasting in the middle of the vineyards of the Bündner Herrschaft. In a carefully packed backpack, you will find three exquisite wines that you can savour during a hike through the picturesque vineyards. An audio guide will also provide you with exciting fun facts about the wine region Bündner Herrschaft, making your wine tasting a special experience.

Your adventure begins at the Stall 247 restaurant in Maienfeld. There you will be given a backpack with three wines carefully selected by us. On your hike through the vineyards of the Bündner Herrschaft, there are plenty of opportunities to take a break on one of the many benches, sample the wine and learn interesting facts about the wine region, viticulture and the winegrowers from the audio guide. As an accompaniment, you will also find delicious corn crisps from the Bündner Herrschaft region in your backpack. The combination of wine tasting and hike offers you a special experience where you can savour not only the wines but also the region to the full.

You have the choice between three options:

Wines (3 x 5dl) from different wineries, including 1 white wine, 1 rosé wine and 1 red wine

1 bottle of mineral (5dl) water per person

1 packet (150 g) of organic wholemeal corn chips from Fläsch

A backpack is designed for up to 4 people. How many backpacks you book depends entirely on how thirsty and hungry you are.

Upon request, we offer high-quality non-alcoholic alternatives-including a white and/or rosé wine from the Bündner Herrschaft region, as well as two different grape juice spritzers. Bottles can be purchased separately for an additional fee (wines CHF 22.50 each, spritzers CHF 5.00 each). Alternatively, the entire backpack can be booked as a non-alcoholic option for an additional fee of CHF 11.20. It is not possible to exchange individual bottles. Please contact our information desk in advance or check in at Stall 247.

We recommend light trekking shoes for the hike

The backpack will be returned to Stall 247

Enjoy dinner after your wine tasting or visit the wine route in the Stall 247 restaurant - please book in advance as the restaurant can also be booked for private parties.

Note: The audio guides are not bound to the suggested route. If you prefer a different route or would like to enjoy the wine and the audio guide at the same place, this is no problem. However, we recommend that you follow the order of the audio guides.

How to get there By public transport: We recommend traveling by public transport to Maienfeld train station. From there it is about a 15-minute walk to Stall 247. By car: A few parking spaces are available at Stall 247. Paid parking available at Maienfeld train station.

Bookable from March to November (start and end month depend on the weather), from Wednesday to Sunday, as well as on Easter Monday, 6 April 2026, and Whit Monday, 25 May 2026

A total of 7 backpacks are available. The contents of a backpack are intended for a maximum of 4 people
