On this day, the farmers will drive their cows from the mountains through the promenade into the "Vorschess".
The spectacle will be opened at around 9.30 a.m. by the "Trechlerclub" along the Gstaad promenade, followed by the first "Zügleten".
During the lunch break in the festival program starting at 11.30 a.m., visitors have the opportunity to enjoy the concert of the Menuhin Festival Gstaad at the Kapälli Gstaad. Afterwards, the "Zügleten" will continue.
The authentic "Märet" featuring local products as well as various musical performances round off the whole event as a unique experience.
The local gastronomy businesses are looking forward to welcoming all spectators to celebrate this day with the farmers.
As of around 4.30 p.m., the official part of the festival will come to an end.
Evening entertainment & concerts will continue to be offered in the Luniface festival tent at Kapälliplatz and in the gastronomy businesses on the promenade.
The Gstaad "Züglete" takes place in any weather.
