On the program for the day:

5:00 pm: Opening of the doors and tour of the premises

5:30 pm: Official part with the presence of Mr. Christophe Darbellay, speeches and songs by the students

6:30 pm: Aperitif and raclette offered to the public

"A playground close to nature".

A working group made up of Nadine Droux (project manager), the commune and the Schools Department, has submitted an application to the Radix Foundation (Swiss Health Foundation). This foundation, with the support of the Roger Federer Foundation, offers financial and professional assistance to schools for the redevelopment of recreation areas.

At school and in their free time, children need stimulating play areas where they can play together, learn, exchange ideas, let off steam and relax. As an integral part of children's daily lives, these spaces offer great potential for fostering their healthy development. With this in mind, it was essential to consider the creation of an attractive playground and play areas that encourage movement and discovery, while guaranteeing proximity to nature.

In collaboration with Mr. Alain Mermillod of the Cône de Thyon forestry triage, the following features were created:

Science area

- Wooden stream

- Tiered plant and flower containers

- Insect hotels - feeders

- With chip path and wooden steps

A play area

- Plant containers

- Rest area, benches

- Various wooden games (skittles, throws, etc.)

Amphitheater

- Outdoor classroom

- Wooden stairs

- Shade with trees
