Mass for Peace - Echo of Peace
This year, the Cantarte choir is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
For three decades, the project choir has gathered in
Lenk to rehearse spiritual choral literature
together and to combine its benefit concerts with
social engagement.
Mass for Peace – Echo of Peace
Our anniversary program is entirely dedicated to peace.
With works from Karl Jenkins’ “The Armed Man – A Mass for Peace,” we are daring to take on a work of
special power and relevance. It does not shy away from war and suffering but powerfully counters them with the hope for peace.
The mass for peace is complemented by choral pieces from Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, which deepen the plea for peace and
the hope that darkness and suffering do not have the final word.
