Visão geral
Introdução
Two significant works of Romantic church music will be performed under the direction of Daniela Brantschen in collaboration with the Graubünden Chamber Philharmonic
Following its first successful collaboration with Daniela Brantschen in 2024, the Bündner Singkreis, in collaboration with the Graubünden Chamber Philharmonic, will perform two significant and moving works of Romantic church music this fall under the direction of their conductor:
César Franck (1822–1890): The Seven Last Words of Christ on the Cross (1859)
for soprano, tenor, baritone, choir, and orchestra
Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy (1809–1847): Psalm 42: “As the Deer Pines,” Op. 42 (1837)
for soprano, choir, and orchestra
The approximately 90 singers from Northern and Central Graubünden will be accompanied in the solo parts by:
Soprano: Aurea Marston
Tenor: Remy Burnens
Baritone: Daniel Ochoa
St. Martin’s Church in Chur provides an atmospheric setting and acoustics that meet the highest standards for the two concerts on November 7 and 8.
