The 15th Lucerne Lake Crossing on August 16, 2026 will take 600 participants over 1.1 km from Lido to Tribschen and offers swimming fun with a view of Pilatus for all levels of experience.
The 15th Lake Lucerne Crossing will take place on Sunday, August 16, 2026 and, with around 600 participants, is one of the largest and most popular recreational sporting events on Lake Lucerne.
The 1.1-kilometre course leads from the Lido lido to the Tribschen lido and offers a unique view of Mount Pilatus. In recent years, the 600 limited starting places have been fully booked within a very short space of time.
The Lucerne Lake Crossing is an event for a wide range of participants. From first-time starters to experienced "lake crossers". The focus is on the joy of swimming and the shared experience.
