Introdução

Bruno Faoro talks a lot about interesting topics related to the current exhibition in the local museum.

Bruno Faoro talks a lot about interesting topics related to the current exhibition in the local museum. The exhibition illustrates the connection between medical treatment methods for the lung disease tuberculosis and the architectural development of the mountain village of Arosa. Changes are shaped by personalities – in Arosa, these were often doctors in the early phase. Here, the exhibition presents a selection of these influential personalities. For the first time, the history of the Arosa sanatoria and orphanages as well as the history of midwifery in Arosa is comprehensively presented. In addition, the exhibition sheds light on the hygienic conditions in the 19th century before the rise of tourism. Bruno Faoro
