Culture meets tradition: Nachttrichjen
Pure tradition! According to an old custom, 100 men gather in Fiesch every year on December 5th to drive the evil spirits out of the village in a procession with their Trichjen (cowbells) before the Santigläis (St. Nicholas) arrives!
In the other communities of the Aletsch Arena, the custom is also practiced, especially by schoolchildren.
The timing of the procession will be announced as soon as possible.
