Soï 28 Street Food Festival

When Zurich's top cuisine meets street food.

On Sunday, 30 August, the neighborhood around the Widder Hotel will become the culinary stage for the Soi 28 Street Food Festival.

From 12.00 to 23.00, twelve chefs will take it in turns to bring their personal signature to the street - with dishes that show just how exciting, diverse and accessible top cuisine can be today.

The hosts are Stefan Heilemann, Head Chef of the Widder Restaurant, awarded two Michelin stars and 18 GaultMillau points, and Miguel Marques, Head Chef of Soi 28.

Together with the Soi 28 team, they bring top chef friends to Zurich - personalities with their own signature style, precision and a great desire for uncomplicated enjoyment.

Soi 28 provides the perfect stage for this: an independent, urban culinary culture that combines Asian flavors, international influences and the lightness of street food with the precision of top cuisine.

Over the course of the day, twelve chefs will take turns to present their dishes, each in a duo and prepared directly on site.

They include Stefan Heilemann, Stefan Jäckel, Daniel Zeindlhofer, Richi Schmidkonz, Sebastian Rösch, Dario Moresco, Alessandro Scaccia, Silvio Germann, Antonio Colaianni, Florian Stolte, Dan Shu and Miguel Marques.

Culinary delights range from Asian-inspired signature dishes to reinterpreted classics and surprising street food creations.

The dishes are offered in limited portions and cost CHF 15.

The festival will be accompanied by long drinks, Perrier-Jouët champagne, beer and other drinks from the Widder Bar. DJ Nici Faerber will provide the right atmosphere with a variety of sounds.
