Introdução
Attack on the Château de la Bâtiaz, demonstrations by a troupe passionate about the Middle Ages, tastings of medieval flavors... the medieval tour is adapted to every member of the family!
Built on a hilltop, Château de la Bâtiaz has watched over Martigny and the surrounding area since the 13th century.
To discover this unique setting, Martigny Tourisme is offering a guided medieval journey through the different rooms of the fortress. Participants will have the opportunity to attend a performance by a troupe with a passion for the Middle Ages. The tour ends with a tasting of medieval flavors.
During this discovery tour, everyone will benefit from :
- valuable information from an on-site guide
- a tour of the castle and its dungeon
- a medieval activity organized by an amateur troupe
- a tasting of hypocras and country terrine
Children will also enjoy :
- a quiz with prizes to be won
- a scent game with the spices of yesteryear
- a syrup and a country terrine

- on foot (15 minutes from the Bâtiaz parking lot - access map)
- by Baladeur, if available (check with Martigny Tourisme for details). Free ride on presentation of ticket, departing 9:30 a.m. in front of the town hall.
