简介

Scarcely more than 4,000 metres above sea level, the Lagginhorn overlooks the Valais Alps. Although the ascent also packs a punch, attention should be paid to the challenging descent in particular.

Lagginhorn (4,010m a.s.l.) 一览

At 4,010 metres above sea level, the Lagginhorn is only just breaks into the four-thousander category – but this four-thousander peak in the Valais Alps definitely should not be underestimated. The Lagginhorn is no simple mountain, with the descent in particular packing a real punch. The Lagginhorn rises up between the Lagginjoch and the Fletschjoch. Several different routes lead from the Weissmies Hut, the Laggin Biwak and Hohsaas up to the summit. The Lagginhorn was first climbed by four Englishmen and several local guides in 1856.

Climbing four-thousander summits requires good physical health, meticulous preparation and technical skills in mountain sports. We recommend booking a mountain guide. Switzerland Tourism accepts no liability in this case.
