Seit drei Jahrzehnten reist der Fotograf Markus Bühler nach Qaanaaq. Im nördlichsten Teil Grönlands ticken die Uhren anders – und die Menschen auch. Die Arktis ist von der Natur und dem Wetter bestimmt, unvorhersehbar und ganz im Rhythmus des Augenblicks. Fasziniert vom Leben im hohen Norden dokumentiert Bühler die Inuit im Wandel der Zeit. Seine Bilder erzählen von einer Welt, die sich rasant verändert und von Menschen, deren traditionelle Lebensweise als Jäger bedrohter ist denn je. Die Spuren des Klimawandels sind unübersehbar. Während die Eiskante näher rückt, besinnen sich junge Inuit trotz allem auf ihre Traditionen. Sie möchten wieder lernen, auf dem Eis zu jagen.
Bühler dokumentiert gemeinsam mit seinem Sohn, dem Nachwuchsfilmer Nils Bühler, wie Aleqatsiaq Peary seinem Sohn Jonas das Überleben auf dem Eis beibringt. Zwei Väter, zwei Söhne, vier Blicke auf eine Welt im Wandel.
