Experience the stars of tomorrow all weekend long!
Band-it enables young bands and musicians to present themselves to a larger audience and a jury under professional conditions. They showcase their skills at qualifiers throughout the canton of Zurich in June and compete for the coveted places on the podium at the final in August. All styles are represented: from indie rock to R'n'B, from German pop to Balkan sound, from punk to rap. Young people aged 12 to 22 from the canton of Zurich are eligible to take part. Since 1989, over 2000 bands have taken part in the Zurich Young Talent Festival. Band-it has been a springboard for numerous musicians, including Faber, Evelinn Trouble, Pablo Infernal and, most recently, Cachita and Fräulein Luise.
