All over the country, countless Christmas markets are back again. In partly adverse weather, some visitors rush past the offered goods at breakneck speed or stay away altogether due to the lovely glow of lights because of the wetness and cold.
Not so in Engelberg. In a cozy atmosphere in the beautiful Kursaal, curious visitors can stroll through the stalls of the Chlaus market without freezing their hands and feet in the warmth. Whether cards, candles, decorations made of wood, metal, and natural materials, baked goods, preserves, sewn, crocheted, or knitted items - our offerings are lovingly handmade. Fine foods and beverages are also available, which can be enjoyed in the Chlausbeizli or, depending on your mood, outside in the beautiful Kurpark.
Of course, Samichlaus will not be missed and will pay us a visit in the afternoon.
Important information for dog owners: Dogs are not allowed in the Kursaal!
