That's all I needed! The Graeser-Andenmatten Collection

简介
Exhibition Opening at the Binntal Regional Museum
The collection of archaeologist and ethnologist Gerd Graeser and his wife Helene is returning to the Regional Museum in Binn. The new exhibition is semi-permanent, meaning it will be reorganized according to thematic focuses in the coming years, and the objects will be rotated. The initial selection of objects focuses on the phenomenon of collecting and the passion for collecting shared by Gerd and Helene Graeser-Andenmatten. It showcases the richness and diversity of the collection, which has long since expanded beyond the archaeological and ethnographic objects previously displayed in the museum. Various themed tours guide visitors through the exhibition and offer new perspectives on historical everyday objects.
For this inaugural collection presentation, the Binntal Regional Museum collaborated with the “least” association and the Valais-based artist collective Facteur. Through various artistic initiatives, the artists invited the public to help shape the selection of objects. | Binntal Regional Museum, Ackerstrasse 2, 3996 Binn
