简介
Ex Nihilo
Renaissance polyphony is a repertoire whose richness never ceases to astonish and amaze. Born of nothingness - ex nihilo - its complex architecture fights against this emptiness by exalting it, through its supple, multiple vocal lines. The conductor and singers of his Graindelavoix ensemble explore this polyphonic universe through two themes which, together, trace the weft of a presence-absence: incarnation and lament. Josquin Desprez, at the heart of the program, is surrounded by fine contemporaries: Jacob Obrecht, Giaches de Wert, Johannes Ockeghem.
