Hilly Appenzell tour

After starting at Gais railroad station, we hike leisurely along a beautiful meadow path to Langmoos. From here, a somewhat steep forest ascent leads to Goltersberg. Passing a rest area in the middle of the forest, we soon reach our destination. On the Hoher Hirschberg, we enjoy the lunch we have brought with us or something from the Hirschberg kitchen. At the same time, we have a wonderful view of the Alpstein mountains, towards St. Gallen and Austria.
