Herbsttrilogie klang Grandhotel Giessbach - Ach Luise!
概览
简介
A bouquet of beautiful melodies—by Rossini, Strauss, Mozart, Schubert, and Borodin—performed by the Swiss Octet.
A treat for all the senses at the magnificent, historic Grandhotel Giessbach 1875 overlooking Lake Brienz—including overnight accommodations, a hearty breakfast, and a delicious three-course meal.
With nostalgic evergreens and German chansons, this program evokes the Berlin of the 1920s—centered on the sadly forgotten singer and cabaret artist Max Hansen (who played the first head waiter Leopold in Benatzky’s “Weissen Rössel am Wolfgangsee”) — and immerses its audience in a bygone world. Guest review by P. Ruthishauser from Zurich: “The show was truly in the spirit of cabaret; we laughed a lot! The spoken interludes and the song lyrics are ironic and often very ambiguous; we were thoroughly entertained.”
The program features: Fritz Rotter/Ralph Ewrin “Ich küsse ihre Hand Madame,” Ralph Benatzky “Ach, Luise!,” Fritz Kreisler’s “Liebeslied,” Oscar Strauss’s “Eine weiche Frauenhand,” Vittorio Monti’s “Czardas,” and many more—a cheerful and entertaining evening.
Program subject to change.
The Musenkuss Cabinet featuring:
Samuel Zünd – vocals & emcee
Nina Ulli – violin
Edward Rushton – piano.
