Annual concert
On 11, 12 and 13 December 2026, the Landwehr Fribourg presents its Gala Concerts "Célébrations!" at Equilibre Fribourg. This edition marks the 222nd anniversary of the wind band and the 30th anniversary of its youth training programme. Under the direction of Benedikt Hayoz, the programme features, among other works, Alfred Reed's Symphony No. 5 "Sakura" and Shostakovich's Festive Overture. In the first half, the Jeune Garde Landwehr will premiere two works composed specially for the occasion.
