The exhibition illustrates the connection between medical treatment methods for the lung disease tuberculosis and the architectural development of the mountain village of Arosa. Changes are shaped by personalities – in Arosa, these were often doctors in the early phase. Here, the exhibition presents a selection of these influential personalities. For the first time, the history of the Arosa sanatoria and orphanages as well as the history of midwifery in Arosa is comprehensively presented.
