Die Hauptausstellung widmet sich dem Phänomen des Spiels als schöpferischer Erfahrung – vom kindlichen Vergnügen bis zum Gesellschaftsspiel.
Die neue Hauptausstellung im Forum Würth Rorschach beschäftigt sich mit Freuden und Herausforderungen, welche Freizeitaktivitäten, ob Sport oder Spiel mit sich bringen. Schliesslich bietet dieser Zeitvertreib nicht nur Bewegung und willkommene Abwechslung im Alltag, sondern auch Freiräume für neue Impulse sowie Inspirationen und spielt somit eine wichtige Rolle im kreativen Prozess.
Die Mussestunden jenseits festgelegter Spielregeln, Zerstreuungen in unbekümmerter Freiheit, Tagträume, das Sich–Treibenlassen, Umherschlendern, Chillen oder Herumalbern prägen unser Freizeitverhalten und finden ihren Ausdruck in vielfältigen künstlerischen Formulierungen.
Ist die Kunstwelt am Ende vielleicht sogar der ultimative Spielplatz? Und ist der Geist des Wettbewerbs nicht nur in der modernen Gesellschaft, sondern auch im künstlerischen Milieu allgegenwärtig? Nebst den klassischen sportlichen Aktivitäten und Freizeitbeschäftigungen, die auch rund um das Würth Haus Rorschach am Bodenseeufer zu beobachten sind, wie Schwimmen, Segeln oder Radfahren, widmet sich die Hauptausstellung dem Phänomen des Spiels als schöpferischer Erfahrung – vom kindlichen Vergnügen bis zum Gesellschaftsspiel.
