Ski tours require strength, endurance and a knowledge of the mountains. With its four marked tours, Nendaz provides the ideal training ground. With varying levels of difficulty, there are trails that will suit even inexperienced ski tourers.
Nendaz has mapped out four new ski touring routes. Together, they form a 15-kilometre network of descents of varying levels of difficulty, marked blue, red and black. One route starts in Haut-Nendaz, the other three in Siviez. Both beginners and experienced tourers will find these natural ascents to their liking. The trails take you through forests and past authentic mountain huts. After the ascent comes the well-earned downhill stretch: this is common to all trails in the ski region.
