Kleine Scheidegg se nachází přímo na úpatí severní stěny Eigeru. Je to rozvodí mezi dvěma údolími Lütschinen.
Zde se mohou ohánět alpské kravinky, horolezci severní stěny Eiger a návštěvníci z celého světa. Eiger trail vede za 1 hodinu 50 minut ze stanice Eiger Glacier (10 minut jízdy z Kleine Scheidegg) do Alpiglen. Je to jedna z nejpůsobivějších švýcarských pěších túr.
