Description

The ChALET Heimeli, a dreamy bijou on the edge of the Stöckalp in the canton of Obwalden (Switzerland). The group accommodation is located in a small village of about 110 houses at 1,050 metres altitude, 10 km from Frutigen. The chalet has one large room as a "living room = Stube". In another room it has dining space for about eight people, it has a sauna, a steam bath and a whirlpool for sole use. In the village of Kerns, about 11.5 km away, there is a public swimming pool, the "Aquacenter". In the kitchen there is room for another 8 to 10 people. On the upper floor there are six small rooms: Room 1 = a double bed with 140 x 200 cm Room 2 = a large double bed 180 x 200 cm Room 3 = a double bed 140 x 200 cm Room 4 = a long bed for two children - 90 x 260 cm (here you bump your feet against each other) Room 5 = a double bed with 140 x 200 cm Room 6 = a larger room with 2 bunk beds of 80 x 200 cm each Room 7 and 8 on the ground floor - three sofa beds - usable for 3 or 6 persons. 2 rooms on the ground floor 2 to 6 sleeping places (3 double beds) Space in total for 14 people ... ideal 8 adults and 6 children. The rooms no. "4 and 6" for the children are "passage rooms". On the ground floor, besides the dining room, the living room and the kitchen, there is a large bathroom with toilet & shower - the bathroom has underfloor heating. The fireplace is a big green block - you don't see an open fire. You can heat it with pieces of wood up to 50 cm long.
