Curling has a long-standing tradition in the city of St. Gallen and the surrounding area. The new curling hall is one of the most modern halls in Switzerland.
Curling has been a popular sport in St. Gallen since the 1950s. The CURLING CENTER ST. GALLEN association, which was founded in 1967, is run as an umbrella organisation and is the supporting association for St. Gallen’s curling infrastructure. It attaches great importance to sound training in all areas. The five-rink hall was built in 2014, and is one of the most modern curling halls in Switzerland. Swiss Curling has appointed the Curling Center St. Gallen as the regional training and performance centre for Eastern Switzerland.
