Dolder Kunsteisbahn
Overview
Intro
Built in 1930, The 6000-square-metre Dolder ice rink is Europe’s largest open artificial ice rink. It has been a popular ice skating venue for decades.
The atmosphere is quite unique. With the large Christmas tree in the middle and the LED lighting with their changing colours, each skating circuit is transformed into a little winter adventure. And if you feel like a short break, you can fortify yourself with punch and fondue at the restaurant, which is open all winter.
Skates can be hired at the Dolder ice rink, and children’s helmets are loaned free of charge. The winter season lasts from November to March.
Note: Each Wednesday from 5.45 pm to 7.15 pm the rink is closed to the public and reserved for training.
