Glooming – Magical Glow over Arosa When the sun disappears behind the mountains and night falls over Arosa, one of the most emotional moments of the Balloon Week begins: the Glooming. In complete calm, the balloons are set up on the ground and illuminated with rhythmic bursts of flames. The envelopes glow in vibrant colors, dance to the music, and transform the winter evening into a luminous spectacle. The Glooming is not a flight, but a feast for the senses – a interplay of light, fire, music, and emotions. Visitors experience the balloons up close, feel the warmth of the burners, and let themselves be enchanted by the unique atmosphere. A highlight for young and old – and an unforgettable moment in the heart of the Arosa winter world. The Glooming lasts about 20 minutes.
