SAINT-EXUPÉRY, THE COMMANDER OF THE BIRDS
Overview
Intro
Make your life a dream.
After portraying Céline, Romain Gary, and Joseph Kessel, Franck Desmedt takes on another major figure of the 20th century: Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Through the writing of Mathieu Rannou and the direction of Benoît Lavigne, he brings to life this writer-aviator whose life itself seems straight out of a novel. The play takes us to the heart of an extraordinary journey, marked by fruitful contradictions: an adventurer with a passion for freedom yet a man of duty; a dreamer who finds fulfillment in action; a sensitive loner who is never happier than when surrounded by friends.
