Intro
At the Women's Voices Festival (Frauenstimmen) in Brig-Glis, renowned and internationally active as well as young female artists and companies from all over Switzerland, Valais and abroad perform.
One of the cultural highlights in Brig-Glis is the Women’s Voices Festival, which takes place every year in early summer. During the festival the old town and some other scenes provides the backdrop for performances and events featuring female bands, musicians, authors, dancers and artists. Women’s Voices is the only festival in the German-speaking part of Switzerland which offers a platform exclusively for female artists.
